The Azalea Garden Party will be followed by two days of consumer finance and privacy sessions on May 6 and 7. The program content will be entirely legal. We will cover - in real depth - matters of interest to the consumer finance and privacy communities. There will be no reporters or consumer advocates present, and regulators will appear only as speakers. We will continue to offer housing and auto breakout sessions, along with more general sessions of interest to all areas of the consumer finance and privacy industries.

Are you ready for a CFPB examination team on your doorstep? Despite no rulemaking to identify which auto finance companies will be designated "larger participants" subject to examination, many in the industry expect the CFPB to cast a "wide net" when promulgating the rule, and that exam procedures will not vary significantly from those utilized in depository institution examinations.

We are pleased to offer this optional seminar on Tuesday, May 7, from 12:00 – 2:00 that will explore the steps finance companies should consider in preparing for an eventual CFPB exam and discuss the lessons learned from exams to date. Fee: $99
